If you plug the AC adapter into a live AC outlet and the correct port on the router the power light should come on. If it does not either your AC adapter has failed or the router itself. You do not need to connect anything else for it to power on.

If AC power checks out then you need the replace the AC adapter or router.

I am having problems with my Linksys wireless router WRT54G connecting with the internet. When I connect the router to the internet I lose internet connections. Normally it works with the internet, but in...

1. RESET both the modem and router by unplugging them from the wall outlet for 30 seconds.
2. Power them ON again, and after 2 minutes check the connection.
3. If not OK, connect a computer directly to the modem, reset the modem and check the connection after 2 minutes.
4. If not OK, check your cables and if these are OK, call your ISP for your status and line quality.
5. IF OK, check the Powersupply of the router.

Try power cycling the router.
Disconnect the router from all computers. Power off the router. Power on the router. Reconnect the router to all computers. Check the Internet connectivity.

Internet went out on the wireless router and it will only stay in local only

Hello
First check with your internet provider if any outages are reported in your area.

Next try a reboot of the router.
1 Pull all cables ot of router, including power.
2 Find reset button, usually in the back use a pen tip or paper clip to hol it in for 1 min.
3 Reconnect cables, power last. Then power up router.
4 Turn on pc.

May take a minute or two to find the internet again.

95lumina want start, want engine want rotate when trying to start, it just click. radio works, lights and all. it just want turn over. i changed the starter but still same problem

The Battery is not fully Charged or the Cable Connections to the Battery are corroded or oxidized.
The clicking is an indication of this. Yes you have a radio and lights and all; but there is not enough power reaching the Starter to make it work.
A good way to prove this is to get a jump start. With a good solid connection of the jumper cables, the car should start.
Remove the Wire Cables to the Battery.
Use a Battery Cleaning Brush ($2) at most stores. Brush the inside holes of the Cable connections. Brush the Battery Post. Shiny metal is what you should see. Reconnect the Cables to the Battery Make sure they are tightened properly.
At Walmart/KMart or even Harbor Freight they have Volt Meters for around $5-$10. Take a measurement of your Battery. Anything less than 11 Volts will not Start the car.
Today's Batteries only last 3 to 5 years. When was the last new battery you purchased for this car?
Let me know if this helped, or if you have additional information or questions. Feel free to contact me at FixYa.com!

Just got off the phone with internet service and they are not the problem... when i reconnect the cord back into the router i loose internet access- whats wrong?

If you loose your internet connection when you connect the modem to the router and are OK when it is directly connected to the modem then your router sounds like it had died.

Some times routers that have been hard booted too many times die a short death or some manufacturers routers only last 1-2 years like D-Link,Netgear & Belkin

My linksys router will not connect to the internet

Reset your rourter, with a pin or a paper clip for 30 seconds and disconnect power and wait for 30 seconds and reconnect it back and check if the power light is lit up in your router first..if yes, connect the modem cable out to the wan port of your router, and check if the wan light is lit up in your router, if yes connect a lan cable from the number 1 lan port of the router to the desktop pc and check if the lan 1 light is light up if yes the router is working properly, then check for the ipaddress in your desktop..if not your router might have gone bad..if you have any doubts rever back..
