The first thing to check is for signs of air restrictions. Blocked vents and clogged dryers cause safety limits to melt and this prevents fires. So the first thing I do is check for blockages in the wall and vent pipe. when hit start button nothing happens...but the - 45df00b.jpgI don't just replace a part, I cure the problem. The next thing is to check components. Any component that does not have continuity is gonna be it. If I see their was a lint problem I disconnect the power and remove the rear cover. I take a look at the duct fuse. 298e77b.jpgThat is most likely it. The only other thing it when hit start button nothing happens...but the - c4b0f35.jpg the door switch assembly. c5d0118.jpg Manual and more photos HERE

I have a 2003 sony kp51ws500 television and there's a timer on the tv and it won't turn on. A red light blinks 6 times then nothing happens. I unplugged, I hit the reset button, nothing happen

read the instruction manual and see how to operate.
if the timer is for to sleep, the problem will be the IC associates with him, you must see the block diagram and w.diagram. and tracking the signal.
go to www. retrevo.com and download the diagram. God bless you

Dryer will not turn on although the timer is working

IF your hearig a click when you push the start button then the button and relay are good check the saftey switch on the door to see if it has come loose and follen down or moved back if the switch is not pressed the motor will not work also I have seen the switches go bad you need to unplug the dryer and cross the too wires togeather plug the dryer back in and press the start button if she starts order a new swith. The motor could also be bad you nees to remove the back cover and check to see when the button is pressed if you are getting the correct voltage you will need a volt meter to check this they cost around 10- 20 bucks if you have correct voltage from the wires and the conections to the motor are ok the motor is no good and needs to be replaced hope this helps...

try turning the drum by hand...is it jammed? if not, then: the motor will not turn due to a number of reasons: 1.) simply burned out copper windings 2.) switch not turning on motor or not turning on motor starting circuit-depending on design ...if jammed, then try to find the interference to turning
