What is a PS2 format disk and where do I buy one.

Hello thompsonfc,
A PS2 format disk is basically any game disc that is created for use in the Playstation 2 console. Any PS2 game that you buy in the region where you bought your console should be compatible. Certain PS1 games and PS2 games from different regions will cause this error to display. Send a reply if you need any further information or please rate this solution if you found it helpful. Thanks!

My memory card is damaged or currupted

Sadly you'll have to format your memory card, it won't be too hard to do it, just go to your memory card in the GC interface and you'll find an option to erase and format your card. It SHOULD work from then on, although some games will cause some memory cards to corrupt. If you want to be on the safe side, just purchase a new memory card, preferably the ones made by Nintendo as they're more stable than 3rd party companies for the most part. Wish you the best of luck!

Fire card wont load

Try backing all of the stuff up.
Format the card with fat 16. Do a slow format. It should work.

Fire card wont load

you may want to format your firecard and then load back on the menu software. just google it, there is plenty of info out there on how to format the firecard and reload the software.

I had to do this once and it was pretty simple, the formating takes some time though so be prepared to wait if you do this.
