To open up that particular PC you should be able to slide everything out of the front. There is sometimes clips or places that you can push on the front sides and then pull straight out. Sometimes they come apart from the top. It has been a while since I have had one of those to work on.
Sometimes there are screws in the rear that have to come out firsts before it will slide apart. I have even had trouble with these before. This seems to be a flat desktop PC. (Here) is everything that IBM has for that system. This is the manual for that system. It seems like the same thing that I am talking about. I have had to hold these up after taking the screws out of the back and shake them to come apart. The case is very sturdy. It should not damage anything if it falls a couple of inches.

If none of these way's will open it up please ask me more.

Once you have taken the screws out of the back on the lid located on the left-hand-side when facinng the front of the box, pull the lid backwards and you will feel it unclip and then pull more and it should come off.

Opening the case is a breeze; remove three large thumbscrews, and you're in.

Cd tray eject button doesn t work - paper clip trick doesn't help

the "paper clip trick" isn't a trick. It is a MANUAL way to open the door far enough to pull it open and remove the contents. Straighten out the clip. Place it through the tiny hole just above the eject button. Be sure to push it straight in. When you feel resistance, push HARD. the door should open about a halt inch and allow you pull it all the open. It will not open automatically from a paper clip.

When i play my game i cant see the whole screen how do i fix it?

If you are playing pogo games ?

Pogo.com is an online gaming website where you can play well-known games such as Monopoly, Battleship and Scrabble -- along with scores of other board, word, puzzle and arcade games -- in a Web browser window. The games on Pogo are programmed using Adobe Flash, and are viewed in a small box inside the browser. If your computer has a large display, you may find the games difficult to see because of the of the game box. Although you cannot independently adjust the of the Pogo game box, there are several tricks that you can use to make games appear larger on your screen. Magnify the browser window. In Internet Explorer 9, click the gear-shaped button in the upper-right corner of the screen, and click "Zoom" and "Zoom In." Browse in full screen mode. In Internet Explorer 9, press the "F11" key to enter this mode, and press "F11" again to leave it. Lower the screen resolution. In Windows 7, minimize the browser, right-click the desktop and select "Screen Resolution." Click the drop-down menu next to "Resolution," and select a lower resolution than the one currently displayed. Because a lower resolution uses less pixels to display the information on the screen, this has the effect of making the Pogo game box larger. Remember to change the resolution back when you are done playing. Disable the address and status bars in Internet Explorer 9 if a portion of the game window is cut off. Click the gear-shaped button, and then click "Internet Options." Click the "Security" tab, then click the "Custom Level" button. Click the "Enable" radio button next to "Allow websites to open windows without address or status bars," then click "OK" twice. Close and re-open your Pogo game window. Press the "F4" key. Some Pogo games enter full-screen mode when this key is pressed, but many do not. Hope this helps.

Hello
Try this, clear the cookies from the cache. To do this in windows go to "Tools" on right of screen on any open Internet Web page, from the drop down select "Internet Options" when that screen opens select "Browsing History", and then click on "Delete" Box, check the following from the list:
Temporary Internet Files
Cookies
History
If the first box in the list called "Preserve Favorites Website Data" is checked then uncheck that box.

Clear the programs you have tried to download from the Remove programs list. This should help.

Cant get the mic to work on my dell , using xp. whats the deal

Open volume control.
When the box with all the sliders opens up click on OPTIONS (top left)
Click PROERTIES
Tick RECORDING then clck OK
The slider box will swap to the RECORDING slider box
Select the one you want to use as the recording SOURCE and put a tick in the box at the bottom. (in your case MIC)
You can also set the recording level here too. (1/2 way is a good starting point)
Now click OPTIONS once again
Then PROPERTIES
Now tick PLAYBACK and then OK
You should now be back in the normal playback slider box
Whilst you were in the properties for either recordeing or playback you may have noticed a list of devices to show then as sliders tick them as needed

Desktop icons doesnt show up. cant open 'my documents' 'control panel'

if you put your vista disc in and boot from that you should be able to go to a point when it was working or do a repair install.

If you need to do a repair install make sure you back all of your data up before you do it.

You should be able to use firefox or internet explorer to navigate the C drive to navigate and find all the documents you want to save etc and you should be able to copy it to a memory stick or external hard drive.
