I am looking for a readable fuse panel diagram labeled? Where can I get one for free

I found it! Huge database of free wiring diagrams.
Go to BBB Industries. On their home page, click on "technical Information". On that page click on "Technical Service Bulletins and Wiring Diagrams". then submit required information (just name and email) and agree to end user license agreement (a formality-there are free wiring diagrams!)
On next page you will be at TSB's and Wiring Diagrams. Click on Wiring Diagrams, and then submit vehicle info (year, make, and model -1997 ford escort), the engine size is already given. Now you will see a box labeled "system". Click on that and click on "Electrical Distribution". The next box is described as "subsystem" and when you click it, of the three choices, choose "Fuse Panel"

next line will show : "2 diagrams found". then click the "search" button and next page will show reference to both diagrams. What I do here is right click the first address and pick "open in new tab". And Do that also for the second address, this way you don't have to keep going back and type in the vehicle information again.

The first page will show the engine compartment fuse box, and the second page will show the Instrument Panel fuse panel-all descriptions and their locations.

This may sound complicated, but it really is not. Once you are on the search page (the Technical Info. page) , click Wiring Diagrams, 1997, Ford, Escort, (system) Electrical Distribution, (subsystem) Fuse Panel. Then click "search" button to see the two diagrams.

Check the fuse panel under the driver's side of the dashboard. Look on the inside of the panel that covers it for a labeled diagram.

It is common for auto manufacturers to link multiple items into the same fuse. Sometimes you can find that removing the fuse for a cigarette lighter port, will affect the audio system. Look at the owners manuals for specific wiring diagrams. They can be difficult to read for sure, but if you can find the wire leading from the specific item you are looking for and follow it on the diagram back to the fuse panel, you will locate the fuse slot number you need.

There are 2 fuse panels on your vehecial. One under the hood witch looks like the picture in your video the other should be on the drivers side of the dash. Both have a diagram in your owners manual probaily in a different section.

There is also a labeled HORN relay in the fuse box next to the battery... the fuse box is long and rectangular. The inside of the lid has the diagram for both the fuses and relays it contains. The other is a fuse panel under the dashboard on the driver's side. It cover lights and a few other items. The fuses are labeled, but the relays are NOT. One of the relays, controls the emergency hazard flashers. You need to check both places and replace any fuse that states HORN and the HORN relay, to be sure the problem goes away.

It is usually on the fuse box cover. If that's not readable look in owners manual under fuses and it should show you the correct amperage for each fuse and its place in the panel or box.

when you look under your fuse lid it should list the fuses 1-whatever. look in the plastic it will tell you how to coordinate those fuses to what is labeled like on my bmw the heater fuse says 20 I look in the plastic and 1-10 is the front row 11-20 is the row going from the front of the car to the back closest to pass. side of car row 21-20 is the row closer to the drivers side...etc.
