Resetting or rebooting any electronic device is always your first option. unplug a/c, power cord, for at least 5 minutes, overnight won't hurt. TV buttons on your unit are not made for daily use, the buttons will break down. After resetting and it still wont come on call a factory authorized service center.I hope this was helpful, also, purchase a remote from the manufacture directly.
