The euroconnector is a pretty straight foward device and the standard dvd player outputs on all port simultaneously unless of course you have a special model. (btw what model of dvd player are you using)

First check if there is a input output switch on the device make sure it is set to input. Also make sure you select the source on that television. If possible change the input source to video.

Good luck!

Can you hear sounds once you have conected it? That one is the cable that has white, red and yellow colors right? Make sure you are placing them in the right places, and you could try with a different cable. Maybe the one you are using is damaged

First, are you sure the cable is good? can you try it somewhere else? Second make sure your DVD is setup to output via component and the TV is using the input your connecting to.

What region is the DVD player that comes with the new TEAC TV that I bought? I can't find the info on the manual or the internet. Please help. I live in Australia. Thanks.

It depends if the DVD player is separate to the TV or built into it. Assuming the DVD is a separate unit, it must be region 4 for Australia, unless specified otherwise (on the player's rear panel or in the operation manual). The only types of DVD players/recorders allowable in Australia are region 4, and multi-region. If the player plays region 4 DVDs, but not other regions, there's your answer. A model number and/or brand of the DVD player would help.

I relocated to Brisbane , Australia from Durban , South Africa with my Teac PL-D2100 (Euro 2) and it does not play DVDs here. Wrong Region displayed. The Teac system was bought in Durban, RSA. I cannot...

DVD manufacturers are only allowed by Hollywood to let their players play DVD's from the country that the unit is purchased from. To get around this some hackers have broken into the operating systems of the player and change the system so that it will play DVD's from any countries. Nor all players have these codes, and not all players of one model number will have the same code work on them.

You can try the following steps out and they might change your unit so that it will play any DVD. It's important that you know if you do try the process and it does change the player your warranty will be voided. Here are the steps:

1. "POWER ON"

2. Open DVD tray.

3. Using the remote control, press "VOLUME^" button.

4. Press the "AUDIO" button. Region Code 2 will be displayed on TV.

5. PRESS CURSOR UP/DOWN "V" button until Region Code Number on TV screen changes to "0".

6. Press "ENTER" button to store.

7. "POWER OFF" and then "POWER ON".

I cannot get any TV channels on my Sony TV

It sounds like you have identified the the correct problem, as the Coax connector has probably been knocked loose from the circuit board inside the TV. If you have any knowledge on this sort of thing you can take it apart and re solder the connections. If not I suggest you take it to be serviced by a professional.
