Question about Computers & Internet
I have an HP Pavillion zd7058cl notebook that runs fine. How difficult would it be to replace the standard 512 MB of RAM with 2 GB? I have read that such an upgrade may require that I install new BIOS. Is this likely and how difficult is it?
The machine runs fine but I need more RAM to watch streaming video. Is the memory upgrade likely to make a significant improvement in performance or should I buy a new machine?
Everything I've read agrees with you on the upgrade to 2g.
HP Computer Memory Help should help with this and this help video from HP View Hewlett-Packard Laptop Memory Installation Video will tell you all the details.
