Call a plumber to check out your electric shower. These are fairly complex items which usually require a professional. Joe

I have to turn the hot water tap on full open to get hot water

Type of water heater is unknown
If you have single-handled faucet the faucet cartridge might be bad.
If you have recirculation system, then check valve might be bad.

I have to turn my shower to full temperature to get any heat out of it but when its on full the pressure is just trickle. I used to have it on number 5 but now number 5 just gives freezing cold water - any...

You have a blockage of the hot water coming to your shower head, or a blockage in the supply line coming to the shower head.
Be careful of the hot water in this procedure below.
Remove the head and try to clear the blockage from the head, as you have the shower head removed try to turn on the hot water to make sure you are getting a full stream of hot water to the shower head, if you do have a full stream coming to the shower head then the blockage is in the supply line coming to the shower head.

Power light is on with my Mira electric shower

More than likely the inner dip tube has become detached which is causeing stacking of cold water. You will need to have a tech come in and fix the problem

Mira mixer cannot balance temp.either scalding hot or freezing cold

I suspect you have gravity fed hot water system and the mixer cannot balance the high pressure of the cold mains against the low pressure of the hot water.
Either install a shower pump. Means installing electrical connections and quite a bit of plumbing
Or a mechanical pressure reduction valve on the cold input pipe to the shower

Just moved house today, have a sirrus shower 1600- cold water

There is something caught in the hot side of the faucet manifold (main faucet body). You have to remove the trim and guts to access it. Use a flash light and look inside. Hopefully you can find the object. Oh by the way, you need to turn the water off to the whole house to do this. If you don't see anything have someone turn on the water slowly with the valve out of the manifold to rinse out the pipe leading to the valve body. Hopefully it will remove whats in there. If what you see is a white looking material that is stiff but brittle, then it's from the water heater and the water heater needs to be replaced. Sometimes there can be small stones that get "washed" into the lines when the main is worked on within the area of your home. But most likey it's from the water heater. Good luck! Don't forget to turn the water off before you remove the faucet guts.

Triton electric shower runs cold

hi it sounds as though the thermostat has gone on top of the can assembly, or moreover it has scaled up & the element needs replacing, if thats the case your better off buying a new unit as the cost of the can assembly & the fitting it will be nearly as much, plus witha new unit you'll be getting a 2 yr guarantee?
Just a thought!
