I know you can replacements for the guitar / band hero drum joysticks from www.bandherorepair.com not sure if they will fit the rock band drums too though but worth checking!
Umm Wow... Well other then trying to sauter the wires back into the cymbals, I would think the replacement wires wouldnt be something easily found or replaced. You might be looking at having to get a new drum set. But if the wires are still good, not frayed then please visit this link. It is the best solution I have found.
look on the instruments for a red button. press this button at the same time you press the red button on the front of your wii console. this should sync the system to the controllers. (the guitar should already be synced since you plug the wii remote into it, but do it anyway)
ive had the same problem and here is how i got it to work... you need to flip set upside down and remove the screws under green pad take off and carefully remove pad there are two wires that connect to the pad one of my wires was off i had to resauder it on...check those two wires im sure one is loose
you have to use the green and red keys on the guitar to navigate the software...not the WII remote if you want to use the guitar.. THe WII remote is ONLY used for the Microphone.
On the drums you use the red and Green drum to navigate for the drum...not the WII remote....
I would say that you could just change the wire. Or just go to e-bay or some store on line and just buy another one. They are not to much
good luck.
Good luck 2913
This is a fualty reciepter inside the drum. I have not got this game so i dont know how to open the drum head or underside. however i have expierienced problems like this before. Either something has come loose i.e receptor or a wire. Or the receptor i broken which will mena buying a new one . I suggest pening it up and very carefully without electrcuting yourself touch the receptor and see if it make the drum work.
