You may have to call in a repair tech to look at the set if you cant find the IC from my description as You will need to pull the chassis in order to actually be able to solder the vertical IC.

turn (only by 2 to 5 degrees ) all the knobs on flyback transformer in clockwise direction & then switch on tv .............you will get picture atleast for 1 or 2 mins ............ this confirms only flyback transformer is defective ........ so it has to be replaced by new one .................otherwise transistor (big in size fixed near flyback with its back clamped or screewed to aluminium metal ) has to be checked ......if that is also fine then complete main board has to be checked ...... but flyback replacement is a must ........in your case iam 100 % sure only flyback is deffective ...........vishnuswamy_26.jpg

When we switch on our Sony Trinitron, the red light keeps flashing, audio comes on but it takes a very long time 3 min approx for the picture to show up. Also the clarity and colour of the picture has...

This could be a sign of hte picture tube failing. If you are comfortable accessing the set with teh back removed, try a screen adjustment as follows:

1) locate the flyback transformer (part with large red wire coming out the top)
2) There should be 2 adjuistments on that part labeled screen and focus.
3) turn the screen control clockwise just a bit

If the set comes on more quickly, than the tube is starting to fail. The adjustment above is a temporary "fix" that will get you time to locate a replacement only. Further adjustment will cause the picture to be washed out and may show retrace lines as well.

Hope this helps,
Dan

Horizonal lines at top of tv screen. what's up..how to fix

If those lines are slightly tilted (diagonal) you may be seeing the retrace of the horizontal sweep which isn't supposed to be visible.
At the loss of some brightness, adjusting the screen voltage on the flyback transformer (large, black block with a fat lead connecting to the forward side of the picture tube) may help but it is likely that there is a (possibly bipolar) electrolytic capacitor is failing. This would be located near the flyback and is marked in some manner as bipolar and will be in the range of 10 - 30 uFd. If you attempt this yourself, it will require a good deal of caution since there are potentially exposed high voltages in this area. Some kind of insulated tool is recommended and the flyback will have two (rarely three) adjustment located on it; one will adjust focus, the other screen voltage.
If you are reluctant to try this yourself, it's OK, this kind of DIY isn't for everyone.

I need to find a service manual for an RCA F32650 so I can replace a blown flyback transformer, preferabley free if possible

I have repaired many of these; if a high pitched buzz when you plug the set in---flyback and horz. output transistor are bad--transistor has a generic number on it--Flyback is location number LL05, part number should be 257805---you will find RCA no longer has this part--most now are replaced with an asti #2078----CHECK the RCA number on Ebay---company I get them from is Suburban Electronics---Flyback and transistor are less then 30 dollars for both.

Tv is not wrking

First, locate the horizontal output transistor. This is found very close to, or next to, the horizontal output transformer (also known as the flyback). The flyback should be on an aluminum heat sink, or on the side of the metal chassis. Disconnect or unsolder two of the three legs of the transistor. Measure it with your meter, or plug in the set with the light bulb attached across the fuse.
If the transistor is shorted, or the light bulb doesn’t glow bright anymore, replace the transistor and plug back in. If the light bulb glows bright again, you must replace both the flyback and horizontal output transistor simultaneously. In some cases this will fix the set, but sometimes there are multiple problems with a set.
Go to where the flyback is, and start measuring the diodes and capacitors on the flyback itself. If you don't find any shorts there, it could be a shorted vertical output IC, a shorted sound IC, a shorted disc capacitor in the Hi Voltage/sweep circuit, or in rare cases, a shorted capacitor or tuner.Feel free to ask and post whatever the result of your troubleshooting..

Hope this may help;

Flyback transformer.

I can not seem to cross those numbers to any source I have. there is a good possiblity that the part is no longer available. after all the set is 20+ years old and manufacturers do not keep making parts for them forever. sears had other companies make their tvs early sets were made by zenith then they were RCA.

Flyback transformer on television

Single white line across screen mean a vertical colapse. So you will need the vertical output and maybe a cap around 100uf@50v.
