The gear betwen the blade and motor is missing teeth

same problem a couple of teeth on the gear just went missing, I guess they ran off w/ a dryer sox...anyway know where I can get a new gear?

I telephone Rival service dept. direct 1-800-323-9519. They don't make parts for my slicer. Thanks, hope this helps someone else. Howard

I own a Rival Food Slicer, Model #1101/8. I need a new blade which is 6-1/2" diameter with nylon bracket plastic gear riveted to inner side of blade and the screw which holds the blade in place. Please tell me how to go about getting one and how much it will cost. Thank you.

you can try to add a washer and if that doesnt work just go to a ardware store and get a shorter screw as well as some thread lock
