Question about Pioneer PDP-4360HD 43 in. Plasma Television
Hi, what has happened is one of your screen boards has gone faulty, as for why it has gone faulty, I would suspect a bad power supply, however it could also just be a failure on the board itself..Unless you have access to a service and repair manual, considerable experience, and all the required equipment, and can track, down and find the "Cause" and then fix, both that and the damage done, then, honestly it is best left to us experts.
What you need to do, is contact your head or local office of Pioneer, now, ask them for a referral to an authorised service center. When at the service center, always ask for a "Quote" as to the repair.
This way you can make an informed decision as to what to do, repair or replace... as often seemingly simple faults can and do quickly escalate into very costly repairs. Often it is better, and I often advise my customers so, to put any monies towards a New set, with a warranty...
Of course IF you can get a service manual, and were able to troubleshoot, and pin down the problem(s), this rep[air may be able to be sorted out by simply replacing the faulty Screen Board(s), and or PSU too... however this is often an expensive way to go,and time consuming too.
