Picture display result

Gud am... please assist me with my techincal problem with Canon A460, when i take a shot, the result on the lcd became too white, specially when the area being shot have white or lighter shades.

is it a lens problem? the result became hazy and blurred, but when focusing prior to shot, the lcd display is ok and clear, butwhen the shot is taken the result is too blurred and cloudy white.

thank you very much in advance

Which mode are you shooting in?
You may have adjusted the exposure compensation so everything is washed out.

Whatever the cause, your images are overexposed. Try shooting in auto and the camera should take over the settings, but if you are in other modes, check your shutter speed, aperture, & ISO also. These are all things that can cause too much light and wash the picture out/OVEREXPOSE.

If you have any other questions or can give me more details, just ask!

Hope this helps!

I'have Canon power shot A460 camera.But I can't Add The time/Date Stamp on Pictures

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Please help!

Try going into the M(anual) mode on the selector dial and then turn off the flash (press the right side of the controller button until you see the lightning bolt with a bar through it). The macro shooting option should still be available in the manual mode.
