Remove Hitachi RAS-10C2M

there is a bracket that is hung on the wall then the unit is hung on the bracket, it should lift off the bracket by pulling out on the bottom and lifting up. careful of the copper lines. you may want to try connecting a shop vac to the drain line where the water drains, make sure you seal the suction well with duct tape or something and try that first, it should clear it just fine

I have a "Hitachi split type air conditioner model RAS- 3098U", and its started leaking today from the right side. I didn't install it and I can't figure out how to remove the front cover to l

water is coming from evaporator drain pan most likely. lots of humidity right now and 1st thing your ac is going to do is remove this from air. most likely cause would be condensation line clogged or if you have condensate pump, then it also could be cause. to remove cover usually you have to remove air filters look for any screws and possibly front louvers pull down. this usually does not give you access to drain pan. unit usually needs to be removed from wall plate and this might involve refrigerant lines being removed, and for that my friend you defiantly want a qualified professional.

My hitachi Ac is leaking

Check the drain which can be blocked and is pitting out the water which has resulted out of condensation.
Usually the water flows out through the drain after falling on the base of the window unit and flows out. If the base plate is worn out it can leak. so check this out.
If this is the split type then the condensation must flow out through the collection tray into the drain tube . If the drain is choked or is worn out the water can leak.

No power to on the air-cond,plug fuse have been replace but indoor unit still has no power.

Have you tried cleaning the overflow pan? Go outside with your wet/dry vac and find the overflow (pvc) pipe and **** out all of the water and **** that could possibly be preventing the flow from flowing out ito the ground as it should be. Some systems have a safety shut off, or kill switch, located inside the pan and when the water backs up (in the pan) it trips the switch/valve and cuts the power. It's a safety mechanism. Once you get your pan drained, the valve/swich will release and you should have power again. It's the only thing I can think of.

Hitachi RAS-10C2M. What size of air conditioner

If the number you say is the model number, it appears to be a 10,000 BTU.Check on the sides of the unit, or inside where the air comes out, and it should give the numbers. It should say 5000 to1800 BTU, if it is a 110 volt unit. BTU is what you are looking for if you want the output, not HP.
