Question about Canon PowerShot S3 IS Digital Camera
When I zoom in and out quickly and fully extend or fully retract the lens the camera shuts off. Couldn't find any thing in the manual regarding this. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!
I know nothing that will cause it to shut down like that unless it's the batteries (bad set, bad brand?), or unless it's after a few minutes of non-use and it turns off due to power saving mode.
If it is just doing an auto power down malfunction, it requires service and I would call Canon and see what your warranty/service/upgrade options are.
Hope this helps!
