I need to know what size tool I need to take out the 2 screws/bolts holding the sta rite ignition control module?

It sounds like your crank sensor or cam sensor are failing. When either of those two sensors overheat they will shut down the engine until they cool down

Cleaning the impeller in a sta rite pr2 pump


Don't touch the bolts, they are for removing the motor and the last thing then.
Remove the bolt on the clamp then pry out on the edge of it. Their are three sections and you will pop them off one at a time.
Once inside their five screws holding the difuser in place pull those and your at the impeller.
