Question about Keurig Platinum B70 Coffee Maker

1 Answer

When the screen says "Not Ready" the water just runs through until the reservoir is empty. Then it says "Add Water" When I remove the resevoir and fill it with water, replace it, then it is ready to brew. It will brew one cup, then after the cup is brewed the "Brewing" message remains on for about one minute. It finally shuts off. When I turn it back on, the screes says "Not Ready" and the water begins to run through again until it is all gone. It keeps repeating this cycle.

SOURCE: Water doesn't come down when brewing

I had the same problem, and it turned out it was the top needle that was clogged. I used a safety pin to clean out the needle and it worked again . . . I descaled immediately, just in case it needed that too. I am back to coffee goodness!

Kureig heats but won't brew

The exit needle could be clogged located( inside bottom of the holder assembly). Remove K-cup assembly and detach funnel. Insert a paper clip or simiilar tool into the exit needle to loosen the clog and push it out. REMEMBER, the needles are very sharp, proceed with caution!!
You may also need to Descale your Keurig...I do this every other month due to high mineral content in my potable water. Change out resevoir filter and clear exit needles as part of Descaling. Disable "auto shut off" feature, remove reservoir filter and do not use a kcup prior to proceeding. Place 48ounces of white vinegar into reservoir, press brew, discarding each mug of water down kitchen drain and repeat until "Add Water". Let brewer stand for four hours in "On" . Rinse after 4 hours by filling water reservoir with fresh water and press brew until ADD WATER is indicated.
I run two full fresh water cycles before actually using the Keurig for beverages I will consume.
Hope this helps

Will not brew says it is ready

TRY...1. Lift up the water reservoir and drop it back into place. There is a magnet that has to be in the right position and putting the reservoir back into place causes it to go back where it should be.

2. It may be time to descale. Most models will give you a message when it's time to have the mineral deposits cleaned.

HERES HOW TO DO THAT...
Empty water resevoir. Disable auto off. Pour approx 48 oz of undiluted white vinegar into resevoir. PLace large mug on drip plate, run brew cycle, dump contents of mug in sink. DO NOT USE A K-CUP.
Repeat this process until the add water light is indicated.
Let brewer stand for at least 4 hours while still on.
Discard any residual vinegar in the resevoir and rinse thorughly.
AFTER approx 4 hours...fill resevoir with water.
RINSE:
PLace a large mug on the drip plate and water brew cycle. Pour the contents of the mug into the sink.
REPEAT this brew process until the add water light is indicated.
YOU MAY NEED TO REPEAT THIS "RINSE" PROCESS if you notice any residual taste.

My Keurig B40 will not brew. I have turned it on and off several times, refilled with water and pressed the brew button. Every time it makes the noises, heats the water, and SOUNDS like it is pumping water...
