I have never burned a CD. I have need of burning two tonight. What do I do?

Are you burning a cd or dvd? burning a cd is pretty easy...windows will do most of the work for you. put a blank cd in your cd rom/ dvd burner drive. it will ask you what you want to do with the blank cd...vista usually asks you to format the disk...select ok.....a blank box will pop up....drag and drop your files to be burned into the blank box.....once you are done putting your media onto the disc....eject the disk...before the drive opens a box at the bottom of the screen says that the disc is being prepared for use on other computers. when it ejects, it should be done....you can try to put it back in to the cd drive and see if your data/media files are on the disc. ......now burning a dvd is alot more complicated....do you have software for burning dvd media? if you do, they have help me files and tutorials........some more good advice....youtube also shows good tutorial vids on burning. just type in "burn a cd or dvd".
