Question about Dishwashers
Thanks for using FixYa. To start with try to leave the unit unplugged for 10-15 minutes and while its unplugged check for clogs in the drain hose. Usually, these issues are related to kinked hoses, knocked out disposer unit (if connected with the dishwasher drain hose) & clogged drain pump & filter. Some of the most common reasons include that the drain hose isn't working properly, the drain pump isn't working correctly, or possibly there is a plumbing problem in your home's drain lines. First check whether the drain is not clogged or blocked and the line is not kinked. Check all the hoses for blockages, if everything appears to be fine then it is better to use warranty (if it still has warranty) and get it replaced/repaired, if its out of warranty then it is the pump filter that should be checked. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
