I can't get my Compac Evo N610 to reconize my docking station usb ports what do i do?
I have a solutions that might work, please for the love of god, next time give it as much detail as possible. Navigate to Start>run type:MSCONFIG. Enable everything unless you are absolutely sure you don't need it.
Right click on My Computer, click on properties. Go to the hardware tab at the top, click on device manager to see if there is a conflict.
Try a different port.
Try the hub on a different computer.
If your hub has a power input, now would be the best time to plug it in.
Plug directly into computer.
Make sure the device is plugged in securely, same goes for the devices plugged into it.
If that port is for power only and you plugged it in thinking it would work for data, please don't ask.
Any error messages?
If your computer can boot off a flash drive, Go to bios, test the port and the hub.
