Question about PayPal Accounts

On Sunday 3rd October,2010 I received notification from you, Transaction ID:87424987BF2695430, that you received $68.69 from me for payment for goods from Apus Corporation Pry Ltd. This amount does not appear as a credit on my account, can you please determine where it might be? The order for the 'goods' appears to be lost also!!! I think I may not have completed the order correctly. Lost in the big black hole somewhere!!! If you can not find the transaction and my credit card has not been affected, I shall reorder on your reply. Thankyou Bob Ellingford

State your problem in the email and include the transaction number.

You have nothing to worry, it is just a program/database error. The transaction number is a proof that the payment has been entered and it's just that it is not showing on your history as you try to view it.
Check also if it affected your balance and include it in the email.

Tip

How to file a dispute against the Seller using PayPal


Prepare all PayPal transaction info regarding your dispute, particularly the PayPal transaction ID. Note, this is ONLY for transactions made from PayPal's website, this is not applicable for all other payment transactions made over the internet.

Follow this simple steps in filing a claim / dispute against the seller from PayPal.


Click here and log in to file a dispute, if that didn't work, use this web address:

https://www.paypal.com/ca/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Customer/customerservice/GXOLogin-outside&from=resolution_center&toResCtr=true&fileWhat=claim


After logging in, you should see this page:

.. click on that yellow button saying "Dispute a Transaction". You will see this page after clicking that button:

.. select item dispute and click the yellow button saying "Continue".
After that, you'll be taken to this page:

If you have the transaction ID prepared, type it on the box provided, if not, you can search for it by clicking the "Find transaction ID" button and select the specific transaction ID from your PayPal transaction history.

When your PayPal transaction history pops out, make sure it captures the date from when you made the transaction, see from the sample below, my history is showing only all of my activities from January 12, 2010 to today, February 11.

Once you find the specific transaction, click on the Transaction ID and it will take you back to this page with the Transaction ID already in the textbox..

.. all you need to do is click that yellow button saying "Continue".


And from there, you will be asked 1 or 2 more questions which you have to answer by selecting the appropriate option applicable to you, so you can finalize the dispute.


Note that this dispute does not guarantee that your money will be given back to you. PayPal will freeze your seller's account until your problem is resolved forcing them to return your money. However, if the seller decides to close the specific account, that's not gonna be good for you, you will totally loose the money that you paid but the dispute that you filed will damage his/her credit track record, because as you know, PayPal is linked to our our credit cards and/or bank accounts.

Goods not received 2 orders paid


hey you can complain and reclaim the money...the options are there in paypal only...just go in the summary of your payment...in the end there will be a option to ...complain...it will take only 4-5 days for enquiry and ..you will get your money back.

lovemypet@domain.com is not the same as lovemypet.com.au.
Notice that the second one doesn't have an '@' sign, which an email address should have.

You have sent money to some the ID lovemypet@domain.com

Now, this is to try recover your money.

Go to "Resolution Center" in PayPal
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_complaint-view&nav=0.4

Click "Dispute a Transaction"

Select "Item Dispute"

Enter the Transaction ID of the payment sent. [Click "find transaction ID if you already don't know it. I hope you will recognize the amount sent from the history."]

Click "continue"

Now, follow the instructions.
You will have to write something describing the problem.
Maybe you can write "Hey, I have not received the .......... that I bought on...... . Have you already sent the item?"

Now, you have to ask the seller his PayPal ID. From where did you buy the item? I hope it is some website.

Please tell me if there is any other problem.

When did it happens? You must act fast. Contact rspears mail immediately do not accept the payment/transaction from paypal. And also request to sent back/cancel the transaction. Contact paypal to cancel that transaction which wrongly sent. Paypal will help you.
