Have a new pro heat 2x. seems to work well but does not seem to extract water. It has the two in one reservoir and there is no dirty water around the clean water bladder. What is the problem?

Bissell 2X machines all seem to do this after 4 or 5 uses. It's a bad solenoid. Most vac shops won't touch the 2X with a 10 foot pole. Get a Hoover 5914 and stay problem free.

I have a Proheat 2X and had the same problem. I tried the Water Rinse setting and found water came out and was suctioned properly, but on the Light Clean, Normal Clean, and Heavy Traffic settings, the unit failed to do anything. Problem may be with leaving the soap dispenser in-place, which might scum up the tubing.

SO, an alternative to throwing out my unit and buying something else was to put one capful of the Bissell soap in the water resevoir and keep the unit on Water Rinse. IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY NOW. Don't know if this will help, but at least I didn't have to buy a new unit. Rinse everything after using and there's been no problem.

Whare does the dirty water go in the bissel 12 amp pro heat carpet cleaner

the clean water goes into a "Bladder Bag" that is located inside the tank. The way it is designed to work, as the clean water dispenses from the bladder bag, the outer part around the bladder bag fills with the dirty water. It never touches the clean water. Seems wierd, but it works! I hope this helps, if it does, please give feedback, as it helps me to gain ratings. Thank you! Remember to have your cleaners serviced every year by a qualified tech! I have a billell Pro Heat 2X without a manual. How do I fill it and what ratio water to cleaner?

The cleaner goes into the small bottom at the very rear of the machine. It is uses full strenght (don't add any water to it). You add clean water into the bottom clear plastic section on the front of the machine. The clean water bladder is soft plastic and it is filled from the top. When you start using the machine, the dirty water will get suctioned into the section surrounding this bladder. The machine will stop working when either the bladder is empty or the dirty water section is full. Remove the entire plastic section to dump out the dirty water.

Bissell pro heat will not extract water from the carpet

Try checking the top section of the machine (where the dial is located to switch it from floor to tool) and there is a little red plastic piece about 1 inch square on the inside of it. This is a lint filter that has a little door on it. Open the door or remove the entire thing to clean it out. It is probably completely blocked with hair, etc.. which is why you have no suction. Replace it after you clean it out and hopefully your problem will be solved!

Bissell pro heat 2x multi surface carpet cleaner making spots

maybe there's not enough vacuum or it hasn't been primed enough. I have a proheat that drove me crazy till I started leaving the heat switch on. I get wads of carpet fiber that mat around brush and spit out on the carpet, so I frequently remove them. I'm just wondering if after you empty the water, it may not have built up the suction. Good luck! hope this may be helpful
