Hello there:
"OE" Drain error. Cause: not fully drained within 10 minutes Check there isn't a kink in your drain hose, ensure the filter is clean, the drain hose can become clogged with sludge, sometimes a hot wash with 1/2 a cup of vinegar will remove this sludge

Check that the pump isn't faulty (a common problem if the water will not drain).

How do you check if the pump is faulty or not.

My LG front loader is coming up with the exact same error message, it's only 4 years old, I'm ready the throw the washing machine away, I will never by an LG washer again. My husband is going to attempt to pull it apart over the weekend and see if he can find out why it keeps constantly coming up with that error message.
The drain pipe isn't blocked and the filter is clean, so what is it's problem????
I'm confused as to why sometimes it washes fine, other times the error message can display up to 4 times or more during one load, as soon as I hear the warning beeps, I pause the machine, then unpause it, then take the end off the drain hose, and start to drain most of the water out, then I replace the end and it sometimes finishes the rest of the wash ok, but lately I've had to do this up to 4 times nearly every wash, I'm so over it!!!!!

Do check out the pump. The pump on my Westinghouse washer behaved in the same way (sometimes working and sometimes not with OE flashing) until it failed to work - the machine would work till it came to the pump out water cycle.

To check if the pump is faulty, remove the pump from the machine, and check the voltage required for the pump motor. In Australia this is 240V AC. You will need to make up a lead and put the required voltage across the terminals - if the pump impellor fails to spin or makes a lot of noise, the pump is obviously faulty and needs to be replaced. Note that the voltages required for the pump are very dangerous, and can be lethal. If you are not qualified to handle the voltage, you should get a qualified technician or electrician to simply test the motor for you. If you have removed the pump from the machine (which you will need to do to test the pump), the actual testing of the pump should only take a minute.

I have a Westinghouse Mastermind 711 Front Loader Washing Machine which is flashing OE and the clothes inside are very wet. Can you please let me know what this flashing OE means....Many Thanks, ELena

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

OE is a drain error and is displayed when the washer is unable to drain water. Please check the drain hose and drain pump filter for any clogs to clean the error. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Not sure what the OE is, but I;ve been having the same letters flashing on my washer this week. I checked the filter at the bottom and it was totally plugged up ! I would check your filter.
