To check if the pump is faulty, remove the pump from the machine, and check the voltage required for the pump motor. In Australia this is 240V AC. You will need to make up a lead and put the required voltage across the terminals - if the pump impellor fails to spin or makes a lot of noise, the pump is obviously faulty and needs to be replaced. Note that the voltages required for the pump are very dangerous, and can be lethal. If you are not qualified to handle the voltage, you should get a qualified technician or electrician to simply test the motor for you. If you have removed the pump from the machine (which you will need to do to test the pump), the actual testing of the pump should only take a minute.

OE is a drain error and is displayed when the washer is unable to drain water. Please check the drain hose and drain pump filter for any clogs to clean the error. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
