Sounds like your problem may be a broken belt, or the belt may have slipped off of the motor pulley, or the belt may have slipped off of the idler arm pulley or a faulty motor.
If you have to check/replace/repair your drum motor, drum seals, belt, rollers, etc.
If replacing drum seals be sure to use a good grade of weather proof cement to hold the seal/s in place, some seals are furnished with the cement to glue it in place.
Note: This method works for most front loading machines.
Remove the electrical console that holds the timer switch, start switch, etc. from the top of the dryer. Be real careful not to knock any of the wires off of the timer switch or other electrical connections.
Remove the lint filter and the screws that hold the filter housing.
Then remove the top of the dryer.
Note: Some of the tops tilt backwards and do not have to be removed completly.
Remove the front of the machine, this will expose the belt and drum, remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers, idler arm bracket with pulley, and motor with pulley. Pay attention to the route of the belt, this will come in handy when you go to reinstall the belt and drum.
Sometimes the belt will slip off of the idler arm or motor causing the drum not to turn.
While you have the drum out, I would recommend that you lubricate the drum rollers at the shaft of the roller with a good grade of machine oil like 3 in One oil. This will save you a problem later with the rollers getting noisy, also check your drum rollers for flat spots, if they have flat spots on them this will cause a noise like a thumping type noise. You will need to replace the drum rollers if they have flat spots on them.

GE dryer turns on but doesn't spin

Probably nothing but a broken belt. Ge dryers can be tricky. Most of them cannot be accessed from the rear anymore. Lots of videos on youtube now that show how to replace a dryer belt on a GE dryer.

I have an electric Ge Performance Wizard Dryer and on the button panel to space over the start button is broken.

get it fixed. it might not be a easy job as electronics are a problem if you do something wrong, it would make something else break. OR just deal with it if it works fine, but a button isn't perfect.

The dryer has only cold air

Your element is not heating. You either have a bad element, or it is not getting power to it. If I had to guess, I'd say your element has gone bad. (not uncommon). I can turn you on to a quality business that I frequently purchase new and used appliance parts from for repairs. He can ship you what you need if you have a problem getting it locally.

704-864-4496 The number to Belks Used Appliances, Harry Belk proprietor. He'll fix you up!

Good Luck, Hope this is helpful!

Electric dryer will not dry. Have checked and there is no clogged vents or full lint bucket. Could this be the heating element ? If so where do you get parts

Is the dryer heating up? If so, then you have a problem with the moist air being taken away, which would indicate a problem with your fan or the vent. If it is not heating, then the problem is with the element, either bad or not getting power. I like to get parts from:

Belks used appliances 704-864-4496. May have a used part to save you money, or he can order and ship new parts if he does not have in stock. Either way, Harry Belk (the proprietor) usually saves me $$$.

Plastic part that the drum rolls on next to the door is broken

Yes that is a very common problem and they are available through G.E or your local appliance parts house...they are fairly easy to change........Be sure not to overload your machine excesive drum weight will cause them to wear out alot faster
