I have upgraded to version 1.4.3E and now my R4I card won't work it is saying as error has occured press and hold the power button button to turn the system off, Please refer to the ndsi op manuual for...

R4i Gold, R4i Ultra and R4i Red cards are fakes, and if you've updated your console to the latest 1.4.2 or 1.4.3 firmwares it's unlikely to work. Check out R4 DS Revolution Cards at www.r4dsrevolutioncards.com (info site) to differentiate between different versions of R4i cards and make sure you buy a genuine one!

A lot of the fakes will indeed work when you buy them but as soon as you update your console they'll stop working.

Good luck!

R4i games are playing hide and seek

oh, well this is easy. if you used it in the DS, then you need a newer version for the DSi. the firewall was upgraded and they came out with a new version for it. and DONT upgrade your DSi to version 1.4 then the one you bought wont work and youll have to wait for a newer version. or format system memory.

R4DSi

First check for your firmware version, look in the settings, the version number is shown there on the top screen, right at the bottom, because the latest firmware version blocks the R4DSi.
Latest Firmware Made by Nintendo for the NDSi is v1.4

If you still using firwmware 1.3, download the latest kernel for that flash adaptor.
Connect the memory card with a card reader to your computer, backup all .nds files to your computer and format the memory card.
Unpack the latest kernel to the memory card afterwards and put the .nds files back to the card, these files are the games.

Succes.

R4I card not playing games

ok here we go!!!!!!rusty on this!!! so ur card is working but games no.. well if ur emulators are not pacthed they wont start so patching the emulators will make sure its runs on ur R4 and make sure you download files for R4. here are the files and sites

http://hbnds.biohazardteam.org/ has emulators!! they let you play snes nes and more

http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/#patchers ok go to the R4 files for this site ok and also it has the patching programs on the bottom Win32

extract the file ok get the dlltool32.exe file and drop it in a folder on your desktop and put the file for your R4 in the folder to and the emulator also then run program dlltool32.exe and chose the patch file you downloaded and the emulator file and run it! it should say patch success and now set the emulator and any files it came with and add games in the card and run it should work

Downgrade psp firmware 5.02

Someone will have to run the flash program to get you back to M33. Pandora battery and Magic stick with M33 flash on it. Most homebrew and programs will not run on any M33 version above 3.9. New UMD games from sony will have the latest firmware and the children will usually run the firmware upgrade to play the game. It will allow the new UMD to play, but the Sony Firmware will write over the Custom M33 firmware and you will not be able to run the games on your Memory stick.

Upgrade Problem

Hi cornet913,

It depends on what stage of the upgrade the Wii was at. If it was not near the end then you should be fine. There is part of the process where the Wii clears out the old firmware and replaces it with the new firmware, called flashing. If the Wii was switch off while flashing you might have caused serrious damage to the firmware, which can kill the console.

The only way to know is to try and switch the console back on. So give it a go, in effect if there has been any damage, then it's already done, turning the console on won't make it any worse.

If it doesn't work, call ninetendo, they might be able to repair it for you.

Open fat error in game card pack

I am not sure about that 88 in 1 game card pack you talk about but that sounds like a flash card cartridge for NDS. If you just would give me more information about that game card like seller store or website or device serial/model, slot used and flash type used. I will investigate about it.

The first: make sure the flash card is well plugged into the cartridge and plug it out and in again to be sure. Better if you clean the flash memory contacts with a cloth or q-tip.

Second: find the cartridge documentation and try to find a web page. Usually all the product issues like this are placed in the FAQs area of the manufacturer site. Or at least with the name you can find information in any related forum.

Third: If like I think, a fat error can happen when you use a flash memory card with a fat partition different or not supported by the cartridge hardware or firmware. That is not something that can happen just by using it unlike the files get corrupted. And you always have the option toformat the card, reload the cartridge software, upgrade the firmware, download new game roms, convert them if nescesary and load them in the flash card to play. Usually these devices use FAT16 or FAT file format (not FAT32 until you know this device support that format).

This is all i can say by now with the information you gave me...

Good Luck...
