When you say "crown will not release", do you mean that it will not come out?

If this is the case, then have you tried turning the crown anticlockwise? On some watches this is a feature that improves the water resistance.

THE PROBLEM BEGINS WITH THE FACT THAT THE CROWN WILL NOT ROTATE.

How do I wind a Cartier ballon blue watch ?

more than likely it has a screw down crown. Turn the crown towards you to release it from the case tube then wind it forward. Make sure that you tighten the crown when finished winding it or you will get water into the watch.
hope this helps, gabe.

I can't set the day in my guess g13534g

Hi, You just have to release the crown out then keep on moving the crown clockwise untill you get the right date. You only have to set this once then it will keep the correct day for you as expected. Make sure you have the right time and date once you are done.

Just bought an Invicta 8926 can't get the crown to pull position 2 or 3. It is screwed down tight. Is it supposed to be turned counter clockwise to release the crown or is it just supposed to pull out...

Watches vary in design but those that have a high degree of water resistance often screw the crown in.

Try turning the crown anticlockwise before pulling it out.

With "The Producer" Nixon watch, can you reset the main stopwatch hand to zero? It resets to +4 second position.

Pull out the crown to the first or second set position then press and hold down the start button. The sweep arm should begin to move into the right position. Once it is at 12:00 or 0 release the button and press the crown back in.

I hope you have Omega Dynamic?!

If yes, then the crown can be removed by appling slight pressure against the watch. The stem inside the watch is made of 2 pieces and the crown can be pulled out. But be careful, there are chances that the stem may break :-)

The minute counter on my chrono won't reset to zero.

Do as follows:
1) pull out crown and set the hour and minute hands at 6 o'clock (they must be lined perfectly in opposite directions)
2) push the crown in half way back (not completely)
3) push and hold the button at 2 o'clock (set the big seconds hand to zero) and release it when done
4) when big seconds hand is zeroed push the crown back in
5) pull the crown out again and set desired time
6) push the crown back in.
If all actions described do not work, you will have to visit your nearest watch repair shop and ask to refit chronograph hand as in this case it is out of balance (not pointed at exact mark).

all Calibers are different. If you look on the plate where the stem protrudes from the movement you should see a small button that has a dimple in it to prevent your tweezers from slipping when you push it down to release the stem.
