Question about Bugaboo Frog - Black Stroller

1 Answer

Bugaboo Frog Handlebar

I was walking my daugther in the City and came to a curb - I tilted the stroller back like many times before to hop the curb. the handlebar went forward and the seat went back and my daughter almost fell out.

Now the handlbar won't lock back in place. It seems there is one side that clicks down more than the other but doesn't lock.

Is this fixable?

This just happened to me today. Something happened in the epicenter of the stroller, and now one side of the handlebar keeps dipping further down than it is supposed to go. Does anyone know how to fix that?

Just had the same problem today.

The external metal at the end of the bar is loose now, therefore the inside plastic with the two metal piece (those clicks when you move the bar) are out of their emplacement, I was able to put them back in place, but because of the external loose round metal I doubt it will stay in place.

Hi, when I open my Bagaboo Frog stroller and flick the front (small wheels) out, they dont lock into place. This means when i am walking if I lift the pram up to go onto a curb, those small front wheels...

The chassis is locked by the seat or bassinet unit clicking down onto the black prongs that stick up from the central hubs. It would be mechanically impossible for the front wheel assembly to swing back if the seat was fully engaged into the hub as it has a large plastic block that fits into the hubs to lock them. Remove the seat check for any obvious damage, spray some silicone spray on the prongs and the square white lock buttons. Wipe of excess with a paper towel than try to fit seat again. macnutz_13.jpg

Unfolding the Chassis - Handlebar Loose

I had the same problem... the handlebar would 'un-pop' and shake around a lot making the whole stroller unsteady. I started to get all upset and worried about sending it back but i decided to clean it first. After using the silicon spray from the maintenance kit on the joints of the stroller IT WORKS LIKE NEW! yay! Try this before assuming its broken :)

Don't worry, this is normal. Once you lock the seat into place, the front bar stays put, even if you hop a curb.

Bubaboo Frog Tilt Wheel

Hello bugabooownr:

I have seen this problem before. If the wheel was accidentally crushed or bent while still on the stroller, it may have become bent. This has also occurred while checked on a plane. If the stroller is still under 2 years old, bugaboo will usually replace the piece. If not, most bugaboo retailers sell replacement wheels. You can contact bugaboo here: bugaboo.com

Hope this helps:
