Take the RAM out and reinsert and see if that does anything. Install RAM you know that works into the two slots and see if that does anything.
Install disc 1 of the 2 gray discs and press the option key to boot from the disc-Then go into the disk utility section-then click on repair disc permissions-then click on repair hard drive disc and see if that does anything.
