I have just bought a sony cybershot camera a dsc-w530 and i dont know how to install the disc that comes with it to my computer

This is the driver software and so you must load the disc on your PC and the disc will open up the files. Now select the standard installation recommended on the disc as it will prompt. When the installation is complete you can restart and then connect the camera as it will be detected as a new device and installed to your PC.
Now you can tansfer all your files to the PC and also use the utility on the program.

Pc will not recognize the camera seems to need a driver. wont load from the disc

Maybe a bad disc? Is the camera new? If it is, get a new disc and try it. There are drivers available on the net, some free, and some programs you have to pay for, but you definately need to get a driver set up some way.

Hello,

You can try downloading the video directly on your PC by using the USB plug supplied when you bought your digital camera. Most of this now are plug and play so you don't have to install any driver.

I cant download pictures from my vivitar 3695 camera

I had a similar problem. I would suggest that you download the most recent version of the Vivicam 3695 driver from a free website like opendrivers.com. Do a web search for this driver.
-- After I downloaded the latest driver and installed it, I was then able to load the pictures from the camera to my laptop.

Sony CyberShot DSC-W70 Lost Install Disc

drivers are not needed ,connect it via usb using the cable and select removable storage mode and it should come up with another drive in my computer , you can just copy/cut the pictures in Drive letter of camera /DCIM/101MSDCF of which your pictures would be in if you used the onboard memory the folder name at the end should be 101_SONY.

Enjoy your holidays =)
