I just had (have?) this same problem. I called out the repair man and in the end he suggested that I buy a new fridge because of all the problems reported with my model (RS2555SL) on the internet. Anyway, after a while I heard what sounded like a fan trying to spin on the fridge side. I unplugged the unit, removed the inside back panel on the fridge side. The entire coils and the fan had iced over. I removed all the ice, plugged the unit back in and it is now working. I will still replace this unit because I probably only corrected the symptom but the problem remains.

it sounds like the refrigerator evap is frozen up causing the compartment to get too hot. shut the unit off and let it thaw out. then take the screws out of the cover to check the stryrofoam on the back side of the cover to see if theres broken spots on it causing the air to bypass the evap causing it to freeze. Theres two screws behind the light cover and two at the very bottom of the cover and two behind the decorative plugs about 1/2 way

orrixcreek i have the same problem. how do you go into the samsung diagnostic? i pressed different buttons at the same time and they're giving me gibberish i dont understand. which specific buttons to press and what exactly do the codes mean? i called samsung and they told me the fridge was probably in "demo mode" that is used on the sales floor and they had me pressed the two left buttons for 6 seconds and a bleep occurred and the LCD went dim. it really didnt fix the problem.
