Take 2 1mm2 wires with the usual thin plastic insulation that are 1 meter in length; remove the insulation for 1cm at one ends then tape them together 2cm above that ; now twist the wires loosely for 50cm and tape them again -the tape should be 1cm wide.
Now you have a home-made FM antenna, plug it in and adjust it for best reception.

Am radio not working

If I remember correctly, FM and AM tuners are separate devices with separate antennas. Both devices are located in the trunk. Check antenna connections and fuses, then try with diagnostic tool and look for error codes.

Coaxial FM antenna

Radio Shack has an
adapter catalog number 278-0291. It takes some effort to push the 278-0291
adapter onto the FM UNBL 75 ohm terminal so wait until you have the 278-0291
installed before you connect your 75 ohm coax on to your new adapter.

This will resolve your FM screw on F connector antenna interface issue.

I see others trying to
help suggest using a 300 ohm to 75 ohm transformer match unit, this isn't what is needed. Your receiver antenna input IS a 75
ohm input.

Can't pick up am channels

Do you have the AM antenna hooked up? FM and AM need a separate antenna for each. An AM antenna is usually a "loop" antenna, which is a wire coiled around a frame.

Where can I order an antenna forthe CD BA 2100 stereo

Hi,you can find it any Electronic Store or even Hardware store..Just ask for " FM antenna Cable " of course this is a passive antenna.
.if you have any reception problem to get FM signals on your location ,than you need to buy" Active FM antenna" with amplifier.....before go to store pls take a look at the rear panel of your stereo to see and decide what kind of FM antenna plug you have it..
if you want to buy these thru ordering you can find thousands available in EBAY web site..
Below are 2 URL as different type..TERK is a successful antenna.

I have a Philips MC235B micro stereo system, but I'm too dumb to figure out the FM antenna connector type. Any help would be great, thank you!

Hi,
If it is a plug, it is probably the PAL connector so you would need a PAL female on your coax lead.
There is a great reference at the FM Antenna Connector and Adapter Guide with pictures:

Receiver does not recognize AM/FM signal.

From what I know all receivers need an antenna, there should be a connection in the back for one. Sometimes you can just use a piece of wire if you live in a large city.

Fm Radio signal?

There was a black wire included (with a metal "cap" to insert in the FM center connector) that served as the FM antenna, but in a pinch any wire can do, preferably about 33" long and with the insulation stripped from the last inch or so (or get creative and sand the last inch of varnish off a properly sized untwisted clothes hanger and gently bend to suit). Bare stranded wire should be twisted or folded until it's thick enough to firmly fit the middle "hole" of the FM antenna connector. Be careful that no strands of wire short to the metal ground "ring" surrounding the hole or the antenna won't work (although it won't burn out your amp like shorting the speaker wires would, it just won't work). Orient the wire horizontally or vertically for best reception. This unit also doesn't pick up FM very well if you're in a steel-framed building or away from windows in the general direction of the local transmitters, so moving the unit closer to a window may help dramatically. In bad reception areas you can get an external FM "rabbit ears" type antenna but you'll need the "European" style of 300 ohm to 75 ohm transformer to plug it into the unit's FM connector (one that has a bigger central connector "plug" than the usual US units). Some cable systems also still support FM, if yours does, a VHF/UHF/FM signal splitter and either the above mentioned transformer attached to flat 300 ohm cable or a plain  "European" style connector attached to the end of the 75 ohm round black cable will do the trick. Some Radio Shacks have them. Good luck!

Cb feedback though external am/fm speakers

Hi Big OX,

Terrible problem.  I know what your going though.  Route your AM/FM Antenna wire, and Speaker wires separate from the  CD Antenna cable and power supply wires. If you can,  twist the speaker wires.  If the Speaker wires are run along side the CB Antenna wire for a short distance, you will pickup feedback. If you much have the Antenna wire get near the speaker wires, have the antenna wire cross the speaker wire at a 90 degree angle. Try not to run the antenna wire in paralell with the speaker wires.   Good luck
