Question about Vivitar ViviCam 3785 Digital Camera
My friend just gave me a Nikon L4 digital camera and i cant seem to figure out how to put my pictures on there I put yhe usb cord in the computer
Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Nikon Transfer or Picasa.

There are cameras having dual memory, that is inbuilt and card memory. Suppose your pictures can be downloaded from the inbuilt memory.your card may have problems. You try to format the card using camera and then give another try.

Remove all Camera Software.
Assuming you have a Windows Computer when the camera is plugged in and in the upload mode
The computer will recognise it as a new device in My Computer.

SOURCE: USB cord does not fit
Incredible that a new product is sold without the proper cables!
After you raise Caine with Vivitar, you can buy an adapter kit with several more common device connectors (I'd take the camera along to check before paying) and normally, another standard USB cable to link the adapter to your computer. You'll find other uses for the kit in the future and the cost will be <$10 US and can be bought at Wal-Mart or other stores with a fair offering of accessories.

SOURCE: i cant get my pictures
ViviCAM 3710 needs its driver installed on the PC (hopefully you have the 2-tone CD that came with it) or search online for it. Once that's installed, you should first have batteries in the camera, turn it ON with door shut so it's showing pics, then plug in the USB cable. The camera will appear as a storage device (flash drive) in My Computer, from there you can drag out the pictures to the PC, or even store other files in the camera as you would any Flash Drive.
TIP: when taking photos with this camera, they tend to be way too washed out, so set the exposure to a lower level. Unfortunately that would need to be done every time you power on the camera.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
