Mobility scooter repair

These are usually replaced as a whole unit. Sub assembly parts are not available from the scooter manufacturer. Some shops, like us, rebuild them in-house but do not sell sub-assembly parts.

My charger shows that my battery pack is charged but when I put it in the scooter it does not show it is charged and will not go

If the battery is old, it might be at the end of its useful life, You need to get a meter to check the voltage of the battery and the charger. Some chargers wont allow a battery to charge if it is totally drained. There is current sensing on those.

defective batteries or charger, try to charge the batteries one at a time with a car charger, if they charge then replace the charger, if they do not then the batteries are in need of replacment.

I have an ActiveCare Medical Mobility Scooter - 4 Wheel Pilot Mobility Scooter (Model 2410), and do not know how to disassemble for transport in a 2004 Buick LaSabre. Is there an instruction manual...

Hi Rosemary. The best way is to remove the seat by releasing the lever to turn it slightly, then lifting it straight up and off.
Next take off the battery cover, disconnect the batteries and remove them from the scooter. This will make the machine much lighter and easier to lift or push up a ramp.
Next release the steering column and fold down towards the rear. Place a piece of packaging or similar under it, so that it doesn't rub on the body panels and scuff the paint.
Good luck. Neil.
