I went to the website, it checked my driver and said it was the latest, however, still doesn't work. I will use CD and reinstall printer, but I assume I should uninstall before I do this? Thanks so much for your reply and if you have time, willl you advise the above answer.

There is a seperate driver for the scanner. I reccomend running the CD that came with the printer. If you don't have the CD you can download the software from here

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=57742&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us

Just select your operating system and download the software.

Printer keeps showing a stop job with exclamation point

Do you have a Mac OS X?
Maybe you just need to reinstall the driver. Download it through the following link:
http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/7584/

Let me know if it does not work and tell me what OS version you are using. Click on the Apple menu and select About This Mac to get the version.

Thanks.

Saying "enter to align cartridges continuously

You need to press the enter key on the top of the printer to start the alignment. On some of these devices you will need to place the printed alignment page face down on the scanner and then hit the enter key so that the printer can read the printed alignment page.

I understand that your HP G55 prints the same page again and again. * Restart Spooler: To resolve the issue, restart the spooler by following these steps: 1. Click Start, and then Control Panel. a. For Category View: 1. Click Performance and Maintenance. 2. Click Administrative tools. 3. Double-click Services. b. For Classic view: 1. Double-click Administrative Tools. 2. Double-click Services. 2. Locate print spooler on the list, right-click and choose Restart. A progress message will appear and the spooler should be clear.
