Hi Daisy, it's Jack at Dyson.

If you're unable to fit the wand of your DC35 to the bin inlet, it's possible one of the internal seals within the wand is slightly out of place. This could prevent the wand from connecting fully.

We'd like to take some further details to confirm whether this is the case, so we'd need to talk you through some quick troubleshooting checks when you have your DC35 easily to hand. If a replacement part is needed, we'll also be able to confirm if this is covered under your Dyson warranty.

You can reach our experts at the Dyson Customer Helpline by calling 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).

We'll look forward to speaking with you.

I have a hand held machine which makes a terrible sound when switched on can you help please

There are several possibilities and in all cases the unit must be dismantled to examine whether the fan casing has been damaged or displaced, the motor has been damaged or the internal motor locating lugs of the plastic casing have been broken; the motor is not usually attached to the casing but rests inside the casing, held in place by a number of internal lugs, flanges and other mouldings and the clamping effect of the two halves.
Dropping the unit is likely to damage or break some of the internal detailing of the casing but mostly these things can be rectified by plastic welding and/or the application of propriety adhesives or fillers.

Need a wiring diagram to change batteries on an electolux zb2904X vacuum

Batteries are not usually replacement items in most rechargeables. Typically the batteries, if available, cost as much as the whole machine. These are intended to be disposable.

Nothing happens when the hose is connected/inserted into the wall - the main part with the motor and brush are working -brush is turning but there is no suction & no noise coming out of wall...

This will probably require a service technician. Various items could cause this.
Bad contacts on the hose. Bad contacts on the Inlet plate. Broken low voltage wire or bad connection, splice, contacts, etc...The different kits require different connections as the direct connect uses 110VAC to power the accessories and the 8ft. pigtail accessories are for all other Inlets. This could be a problem with the Vaccum unit internal low voltage component or other electrical components. A voltage meter could be used to check for voltage at the unit where the initial wires first connect to the source and tested at each Inlet as well to verify voltage is present and of proper continuity. Be advised 110VAC could cause injury or death, this should only be performed by a qualified professional.

I need a download for the instructions that came with a Heath/Zenith SL-4142-B motion-sensing porch light.

I was looking for the exact same thing today and found out it is the same as the SL-4152-B instructions:

Hope that helps. Enjoy.

Kenmore bagless upright Model # 116.35726401

There is actually an internal fuse in the vacuum. You may have blown this. The circuit board connected to the ON/OFF touch pad may be bad too but probably unlikely. There is also an overheat sensor that trips the vacuum off when it gets too hot. This could be bad preventing it from coming on too. All of these solutions, require you to open the vacuum to fix.
