Your valve plates are broken or chipped. They are located on a plate on the top of the air pump between the cylinder and head cover. If you are getting 20 psi it is most likely the output valves that are letting the air the piston compresses into the tank but not stopping it from getting back out into the cylinder so the piston keeps pumping the same air back and forth. Sorry, I couldn't find parts for TestMark compressors so I can't tell you if it's worth fixing it or if you should replace it.

Air has started leaking around the plus/minus knob on the front of my "Porter Cable C2002 150 Psi 6 Gal Compressor." As a result it no longer can fill up with air. What can I do to fix it. Jim

They will let air out if you have turned the valve out too far, try turning it clockwise until it stops then open it by turning the other direction two or three full turns.

USING IT FOR JUST THE SECOND TIME,THE TANK WOULD NOT FILL WITH AIR.WHEN I SHUT IT OFF AIR WAS LEAKING OUT THE TOP.BEFORE USING IT THE FIRST TIME,I DID NOT BREAK IT IN ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS.

The break in instructions have to do with slowly letting the ring wear in before putting it to a lot of pressure, but should make little difference.
You need to either take it back for warranty, or find and fix the leak yourself.
Listen for it with a length of tubing, or spray with soapy water way from any electrical parts.
Could be the relief valve even, or loose tubing connection.
There is also an antiback up valve that can let air leak back out the intake if it is bad.

My compressor will not go over 20 psi i have a craftsman 921 4 gal 125 psi compressor and it will not build past 20 psi i do not know how to get to the pistons and stuff what do i do?

The problem with compressors not building pressure is usually a bad pressure switch or bad regulator. Does the motor shut off at 20psi or does it continue running and not build pressure? If the motor continues to run with no increase in pressure, the you should go over the machine looking for air leaks from your regulator back all the way to the motor. Any air leak while the compressor is running can cause the pressure to "peak" way before the intended shutoff that it is regulated to.

Air leaking from oil fill tibe

Your check valve is stuck open allowing the air in the tank to flow back into the head. It's usually located on the tank side and can be disassembled and cleaned
Just follow the largest hose from your compressor to the tank and you will see it.

Compressor will not build pressure

It sounds like it is not getting enough electricity.
Try plugging in to an outlet on its own circuit without an extension cord. make sure the circuit is rated for your air compressor. If it is on a circuit with other appliances, refrigerator, lights, ect. try shutting them all off before turning on the air compressor.

Good luck
