Question about Zanussi TC7102W Electric Dryer

1 Answer

Hi, My Zanussi TC7102W keep blowing fuses and the plug keeps oberheating. I have changed the plug twice and fuses four times in the last four week and it's still doing it. I've also tried it in different sockets and it still does it. Is this something that can be solved? Do i need an electrician? Should i just get another machine? It's about 4 years old.... Thanks Nick

If the plug is oerheating, then I suggest you fit a new plug, and make sure the connections are good.

Thermal fuse in dryer keeps blowing out

Hi Janet Douglas
Check to make sure your vent is clear, this can cause the overheat problem and blow the thermal fuse.
Also check to make sure the blower is not full of lint also as this can cause the same problem you are having happen.
Another thought:
Right after replacing a dryer element, always run the dryer on air fluff/no heat, and go outside to verify there's plenty of air coming out your vent system.
If the vent's clogged, that new element and thermal can burn out very quickly.

Fuse for horn keeps blowing on outlander 2007

Someone will need to troubleshoot the circuit to find the short to ground.
Could be in the wiring or the steering wheel.

I have a zanussi tc7102w in the last few weeks was very cold and i have it storage in a shed, i dont know what happen, but the basket that collect the water it is empty, but the dryer wont work , i did...

Pat, Have you found a solution to this yet? I have got a similar fault today ! Having taken the top & left side of the dryer off, I found what looks like a broken drive belt - not the main drum drivebelt which is fine, but a shorter one (about 18cm diameter loop) with no obvious place for it to have come from. Any clues would be appreciated. Dave (drdave@fsmail.net)

Drier spinning but doesn't get hot/warm.

Hi

If the dryer is not drying the clothes then you would need to check for the following things—
Electric Dryer---
1. Inspect the fuses and circuit breakers they may have burned out or tripped. Usually, dryer will still tumble but not create heat if a fuse or a circuit breaker is not working.
2. Check for the amp reading at 240 V, it should have reading of 24, 21 and 3 amp (approx.) for 2 lines and neutral respectively.
3. Heating element may have turned or the connection to the element might be loose. Sometimes a shorted circuit element will keep on blowing the fuse or circuit breaker.
4. Motor wiring shorting to ground.
Hope this helps...

No heat from my tumble dryer

There should be 2 limits mounted above the heating element on back along with a limit mounted on the heating element. I have some repair video: HERE
