Connected wireless to router, excellent signal, but unable to connect to internet.

connected to wireless router with excellent signal may not means you are connected to internet. make sure your modem provided by internet service provider has signal! connect your computer to modem directly bypassing router. If you are online that means your internet is functional. Then connect modem to your Linksys router and use your wireless to log on to internet.
Your router wireless signal active and excellent means you are connected to router not necessarily the internet. The modem supplied by your internet service provider with active internet should be connected to you router on WAN port!
good luck!!

My laptop won't connect to the internet via wireless even though it sys it is connected to my wireless router

Need more info.
Do you know what type of wireless security you are using?
The first place to check to see if you are "really" connected is to click start, run, type "ipconfig" (no quotes) and see what IP address you have. If you have anything that starts with , you are not really connected.

Not geting any signal

since you have not stated which signal the computer or internet

i will have to make a guess

one bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ?

ring your ISP internet sevice provider get them to check your modem for internet access online
you might have put in the wrong password or user id check to make sure you have put these in correctly first make sure the caps lock is on/off what ever applies to your user and password id that you provided to your ISP

hope this helps

Good signal no internet browsing on g-102 wireless adapter

Not sure what OS you are usin but if it is XP try this -

1. Disable Windows Firewall

2. In Internet Options Control Panel go to the connection tab and then the LAN Settings where you can uncheck the "Automatically detect settings" button.

3. If you have any third party software, I would get rid of this and ensure that the"Windows Zero Configuration" in the Services menu is set to "Automatic" and the status is started.

Interestingly, Anti Virus programs sometimes interfere with wireless set up - you could see if it helps by disabling it whilst configuring your wireless. It might also be worth trying to connect without any encryption code & see if that will connect - you can then sort out the encryption. Hope this helps!

JVC HR-D337MS Multisystem VCR - NO SIGNAL The only information I could find on the internet was it was worth $450.00 in 1991. i hooked up the RF out to RF on the TV in. Pushed play on the VCR. No signal....

Connect RF out of VCR to Antenna IN of TV. There should be a Test Signal switch at rear of VCR. Push it to ON. JVC VCRs generally generate a RF signal in the UHF band, around channel 36. Scan all channels on your TV, you should gete a Test signal of 2 parrallel black bars around channel 36. That is the Channel on which you can view tapes. Switch off 'Test signal' at rear of VCR, and press play. you should be able to watch your tape.

do you have another like internet box as i have an older NTL box.. anyways
if you do try unplugging the 4 wires in the back of the box or whatever and then you put the ethernet into the back of the computer and just leave the power on
