If dryer is heating ckd vent system to outside must have good air flow to remove moisture away from clothes..if not heating suspect low ,voltage to dryer motor runs on 110 volts but must have 220 to heat..also possible thermal fuse on element or control bd bad

Whirlpool cabrio washer no longer spins

Most likely control board. On a cabrio main power controls everything. If it agitate and drains and does not spin that's what it will be especially if there are no codes. Only other thing that could prevent spin, is a bad lid lock. But if there are no codes it a board.

My cabrio dryer wed7600xwo is no longer drying right, I have to run loads 3 times to get them dry. What could the problem be?

This dryer has 2 belts. A smaller belt operates the blower. The nut tends to back out and the small belt falls off. Here is the result:

Look around on my foggy site for your service manual. Let me know

On the screen of my dryer where it tells me how long I have till the cloths are dry keeps flashing AF and it takes me all day to dry one load of cloths.

The AF stands for Low airflow condition. We had it too. Check the lint trap first as it is the easiest. Then check the dryer hose ductwork make sure its not crushed or blocked. You may need to clean the line from the outside too.

Dryer won't shut off automatically

Hi,
If your dryer seems to run forever, it could be because of a clogged vent or internal ductwork. Your dryer may have an automatic cycle that turns off the dryer when the clothes are dry. It does this with a special thermostat or moisture-sensing system.

Normally, this is what happens during an automatic cycle: The thermostat tells the dryer to heat until the interior of the dryer reaches a pre-set temperature--say 135 degrees. When the dryer reaches the pre-set temperature, the thermostat tells the timer to begin advancing. (If there's a moisture sensor, the timer advances only if the moisture content of the clothing is low enough.) The timer advances until the interior cools, then the thermostat tells the timer to stop advancing, and tells the dryer to start heating again. This cycle continues until the clothes are dry. But if the vent is clogged, the dryer may never reach the proper operating temperature, so it doesn't send the signal to the timer and the dryer continues to run indefinitely, even if the clothes are completely dry. To fix the problem, clean the vent and/or internal ductwork.
Thank you!
