I will need to know how many times the lamp flashes to assertain the whereabouts of the problem.
It works on the same principal as a desktop PC when in fault mode.
When you have the number and frequency of the flashes, email Mitsubishi with that information and they may be able to tell you what they think the code means.
Sometimes the instruction manual will have the answer.
How old is your TV set it could be a few things but most likely for this set's it is usually the LAMP
so I would start there, first the lamps are rated 6000-8000 life hours 2-3 years of use
to be honest with you I don't think the problem is that technical right now
I think this is just a common failure and the blinking code is not all ways accurate

There might be a problem with your television. When the LEDs do something they never though in normal operation it usually is a status indicator.
Try contacting Sony on the matter as for they probably know what the LEDs indicate. You can find contact information on the Sony websites.
