There is a device in which you can buy which is called a stud finder rather than tapping lightly with a hammer until you find a solid sound which is usually the stud......Hope this helps.

How much do safety rails for toddler beds cost?

You should be able to buy a safety rail for a toddler bed for around $25-$35 dollars. I got mine at Target. Check out the link to their site http://www.target.com/c/bed-rails-child-safety-health/-/N-5xthd

No mounting instructions in package. will it work on an LG 47 inch led tv? To many peices in the package?

It should work with the LG 47". you need to find the correct bolts that fit the mounting holds on your TV. There should be a bag of bolts packaged with the Omnimount.

How to find studs for bath room safety rails

Just installed a few of those last week. A stud finder is your best bet. They've become very inexpensive and you will use it throughout the years so put it in your arsenal of tools. I recommend the Zircon brand (under $25). They offer several price ranges but the one I like and recommend has a deep scan mode and also shows you where both sides of the stud start as well as the center.

If you want an old fashion method, start by measuring from a corner and you should have a stud at approx. every 16". Tapping on the wallboard is not uncommon so you can hear the difference in the sound as you go from a hollow sound (no stud) to a more solid sound. When you think you've found the stud use a small nail to tap through the sheetrock, make sure your nail is at least 1 1/2" long, the sheetrock is 1/2" thick and you need something you can hold without hitting your finger while nailing. I have an old leather awl that I use and don't know if you can buy them anymore but if you find one grab it. If you've picked the right spot while tapping you'll hit the stud behind the wallboard using your nail. Move over about 1/2" at a time until you drive the nail into the wallboard and it doesn't hit a stud on either side and you'll have both sides of the stud located. The cover plate on you grab bar will cover the extra holes, if you didn't miss by much. If you have some exposed, because they're so small, they'll be easy to fill and touch up.

Another option is to use the new EZ anchors. They now have one that's rated at 30 lb. each and the grab bars should have three mounting holes on each end which gives you 90 lb. per side or a total gripping strength of 180 lbs. Unless the person you are installing for is over this weight you should be in good shape to use only the EZ anchors. My guess is that in the process of using the EZ anchors you're going to hit at least one stud and then you can use the longer screw provided by the manufacturer which will significantly increase you gripping strength.

Hi, I have a Triumph Spitfire 1500. There is no gate between the forward gears and reverse. Can anyone help me identify the fault? Thanks John

Hi, do you know if it is a single rail or 3 rail box? The single rail has the gearlever coming out of the tail housing ( and the reverse spring below the lever on the l/h/side sometimes replaced by the reverse light switch) the 3 rail box has an extension housing holding the gear lever, bolted on with 4 studs to the gearbox. this has a detent on the gearbox top plate.

I dont have the instructions to turn my simplicity 4 in 1 crib to a toddler bed

Install Safety Rails
Mattress support must be in lowest postition
Remove the Front Panel Contoured Top rail and Front Panel
Loosen connector pieces on the end of the leg of the Safety Rail to the End Leg using two of the Allen Bolts (11/2 in). Loosely attach the leg of the Safety Rail to the underside of the Mattress Support using one of the short Allen Bolts (3/4 in) through connectors. Tighten all three of the bolts holding the safety rail to the unit.
Repeat procedure with the other safety rail.

These are the instructions in the manual. Basically, you take off the front cross board and rail, attach the safety rails to each of the front legs. They kind of go 1/3 of the way across the front with about a 1 1/2 foot opening in the center.

No brake lights

For the switch, first have someone stand behind the truck, then push on the pedal with your hand, so you can can see if the pedal rail comes away from the switch stud. If it doesn't, you have to readjust the switch so it does.
If the rail does come down lower that the stud, but the lights still will not light, pull the switch out, and check it with a multimeter, put it on the Ohms setting, and connect the multimeter probes to the terminals of the switch. If the Ohmmeter reads a very low reading, your switch is likely fine, and it's time to check wiring. If the meter reads very high, near to infinity, then your switch is bad, and just simply replace the switch, and make sure to adjust the ride height of the stud on the rail.
