Syringe the drain with clorine bleach to kill all those nasties..the smell will dissipate quickly...

Yes besides cleaning you fridge drain, the next time you're at the grocery store buy a small box of (brand Arm&Hamer)baking soda. Tear or cut off the entire top of the box and place back on one of the shelves, this will obsorb odors in the fridge. (dont forget to throw out bad or old left overs once-in-awhile) Arm&Hamer can only do so much! Replace box every month or two! Best regards.
