Hi,

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have nottaken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then youneed to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should takeplace. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causesfor your dryer to fail.

Flashing check filter I have and cleaned all filter, but the dryer is still not drying.

Have you cleaned your outlet vent tubing? Cleaning filters is just one part of really cleaning your dryer. You have to clean your dryer vent from the back of your dryer. Disconnect the vent from behind your dryer and use a shop vac to suck out any lint that mite be built up. Blocked lint tubes are #1 cause of dryer fires.
Hope this helps

Maytag dryer will not restart immediately after drying a load. has to cool down

try cleaning out your dryer vent. Remove your lint trap and use a flexible wire brush to clean deep inside, then remove your dryer vent hose and make sure all lint is clean from the dryer side of the vent and the vent hose all the way to the out side vent.
Sounds like it may be clogged with a build up of lint

We have a combo dryer and washer. Washer is A2444330KH. Leaves lint on cotton shirts, have cleaned the filter no help. Any ideas? David

Dryer lint not only presents a problem by cluttering up your clothes with white specks, but it can also lead to a dryer fire. While it is impossible to completely eliminate dryer lint, you can take action to drastically reduce lint and the potential problems that come along with excess dryer lint. If your clothes take more than one cycle to dry, you see no lint on the lint screen, the clothes are very hot after drying or you find excess lint on the clothes after drying, you probably have a problem with accumulation of dryer lint in the dryer vent.
Use a dryer vent cleaning brush and clean the dryer vent, or hire a professional to clean the exhaust vent behind your dryer. If your dryer vent is clogged, it will create excess dust in the dryer and on the clothes. The excess lint can eventually catch on fire given the heat load of the dryer.

Outdoor dryer vent causing the air condidtioner problem

did he clean out the dryer and clean out the vent line?dryers need to be cleaned out,gas dryer should be done once a year and electric dryers every two years.we come in,take the dryer apart, clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into, blow out and vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is and if the vent line is a long run from the back of dryer to the outside vent i use a leaf blower and blow out the line,if it's clean you won't notice any lint blowing out, alot of the time when the dryer is on and heating up the vent line lint that's built up inside the vent line will blow out if the line hasn't been cleaned out, your dryer will dry the clothes better and you won't burn out any parts if the dryer is clean and not running hotter than normal from a blockage somewhere, and you don't have to worry about a dryer fire, good luck

My kenmore 400 dryer takes for ever to dry clothes, does it need a new heating element?

Have you ever cleaned it out? If not, that is the most common problem with dryers. It can't breathe and takes multiple cycles to dry the clothes. Unplug the dryer and pull it out. Disconnect the vent from the back of the dryer. Clean out lint from dryer and vent. Take the vent outside if you have to and blow it out with air compressor, if you can. Now check the other end of the vent outside at the vent cap. Clean it out and make sure the vent cap flap is not stuck closed. After reassembling vent, turn on dryer and check for heat at outside vent. You also may need to clean it out more if lint has traveled down the vent. Also, clean out your lint filter religiously for more efficient drying. Those are the easy things to look for and fix on your own. If it still does not improve drying, you made need a repairman to trouble shoot it. Good luck!

Dryer runs a few minutes then shuts off, after sevearl minutes, you can turn it back on, then shuts down again, any suggetions

it's overheating, you could have a bad motor or the dryer just needs to be cleaned out, when was the last time you cleaned it out? try disconnecting the vent line from the back of dryer and run it for a while, you should see a difference but you'll still need to clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into unplug the dryer first, vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is and if the vent line is a long run from the back of dryer to the outside vent i use a leaf blower to clean out the vent line, just make sure the outside vent isn't blocked with anything because if it is the vent line can pop.you should clean the dryer once a year, your clothes will dey on time, less parts will go on you and you won't have to worry about dryer fires
