Tasco galaxsee 46114675 telescope

Bought second hand and do not have a manual - seems everything viewed, no matter what I change, is upside down. Seemd also to be out of focus and the magnification of something 20 to 300 meters is not impresive so tonight I want to see if issues but looks to be no better then a good pair of binoculars presently - thanks for anyone's help. Concerned purchaser.

The telescope is intended for astronomical viewing, where orientation is not that important. When looking at ground objects, it will be inverted and reversed (that is why binoculars have 2 sets of prisms). To use on land objects, you would need to add a 'terrestial viewing adapter', although those are generally intended for refractors - the newtonian has a diagonal that 'corrects' the image in 1 direction.

I just acquire a BUSHNELL 345 and I don't know how to use it. when I focus it on something I see its upside down!

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images. It's normal. If you want to use it for terrestrial viewing you can purchase an "erecting diagonal" like this:

I have a tasco galaxsee 45-114375 and misplaced my manua. l My image is upside down, how can I change that?

All astronomical telescopes have upside down images. It's perfectly normal.

You can buy an "erecting prism" for terrestrial viewing.

Here is one:
http://www.astronomics.com/main/Image_Erecting_Prisms.asp/catalog_name/Astronomics/category_name/EDNECFUVSRWS8KLNTU5E38XSE1/Page/1

The manual will only have assembly instructions. It will not tell you how to use the scope or how to find objects in the night sky. Read my TIPS on my profile page-- a free monthly star chart is available here:

Tasco 40-076420 for terrestrial viewing

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images-- no up or down in space!

You can buy one of these to ERECT the image-- make sure you get the correct barrel size usually 1.25 inch although some of those TASCO scopes are .965 inch. Measure the hole--

Need an operating guide and manual for tasco 302058 telescope

You won't find a manual--- from Tasco--- however Meade maintains a web site with all of their manuals-- find one similar to yours. They all go together about the same.

Just bought a cheap, used Tasco telescope. Images

I'm not sure what type of telescope this is (refractor, reflector, etc.) but it's normal for most telescopes to have inverted images. There is no up or down in space so it doesn't really matter when you view an astronomical object. You just want to keep that in mind if you use a moon map so that you can get the correct orientation. However, you can get moon maps with inverted images.

If you wish to view land or terrestrial objects you can purchase an image erecting prism to turn everything right side up. Depending on the telescope it may reverse the images from left to right when it does this.

I hope this helps.

Finderscope image upside down & not focused if viewing past 100 yards

The upside down image is normal for astronomical telescopes. The finder usually is a fixed focus, but it can be altered for various eye types, by rotating the objective lens for focus - the cell should move in or out on fine threads.
