SOURCE: Linksys wUSB300N WIRELESS ADAPTER

Before trying any other solution I suggest unplugging the computer from the power for 10 mins. Then if it does not work you need to phisically remove and then uninstall your device completely (spoftware and drivers). After this restart the machine and reinstall drivers and software BEFORE plugging the device back in. If it still does not work then the device may be faulty and you will need to install it on a different computer to test it.
Here is the driver's link

SOURCE: my device manager reports wireless adapter issue.

Hi, try to uninstall the wireless adapter from the device manager and re-scan new hardware, it will pop up windows asking new hardware has been detected, if you have the driver in it, just seek the path where it is located and install the driver, let see what happen.

If you have access to the Internet using a LAN cable, then download the Netgear wireless USB adapter to install the driver. After downloading you can remove the LAN cable.
You can also save the driver from your laptop to an USB memory stick and then install the driver in your computer with the USB memory stick.

If the cables supplied have RJ45 connectors then they are used for connecting and configuring the wireless settings in Netgear router and to connect the Netgear to the DSL modem foe Internet access.
Most likely the color of the cables is not important.
To configure the wireless settings, connect a cable from one of the LAN ports (not the WAN/Internet port) to the LAN port on your computer. You may remove this cable after configuring the wireless settings if you want to connect to the Netgear by wireless only. You need to connect other computers to the Netgear's LAN port with a cable if they do not have wireless cards installed in these computers.

The other LAN cable is used to connect the Netgear WAN/Internet port to the DSL modem so you computers can connect to the Internet via the Netgear router.

Follow these instructions to configure the Netgear router.

How many computers can the netgearN150 run at the same time?We r trying to run Xbox live, desktop ,mini hp notebook and a ipod...Is this to many devices?

No problem if you are connect using the wireless, but if you are connecting by LAN cables then it is limited by the number of LAN ports on the Netgear router unless you attach a LAN hub to the router to increase the number of LAN ports.

I bought belkin g wireless modem ruter but they didn't give me CD . How can i install this and how can i use my wireless ruter please. Thank you.

Power-off your cable-modem (or DSL-modem).
Use an Ethernet cable to connect from the modem to the WAN port on your router.
Use another Ethernet cable to connect from one LAN port on your router to the network-port on your computer (desktop/laptop).
Turn the modem on.
Turn the router on.
Turn the computer on.
Click Start
Click Run
Type CMD
Press Enter
Type IPCONFIG
Press Enter
Look for output like:
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 1234.678.0.1
Start Internet Explorer
Type http://1234.678.0.1
to access the web-server "inside" the router.
Run the Network Setup Wizard.
Run the Wireless Networking Setup Wizard,
to pick an SSID, an encryption-level (use 'WPA')
and to pick a network-password.
Now, you can disconnect the Ethernet cable from the computer, and try using the wireless-adapter inside your computer.

I own a HP DV9000 my wireless quit working

Check the Device Manager to see if the Wireless LAN device is working and enabled. If not reinstall the Wireless LAN driver.
If the Wireless LAN is OK and enabled then sometimes when you bootup the Wireless LAN card doesn't get an IP address from the wireless router. This usually has a red X on the wireless connection icon and sometime you get an error message "Limited or no connection".
To get the router to issue the wireless LAN card with a new IP address, righr click on the Wireless icon and click on Repair.
You can also power down the router wait 15secs and power up the router again then reboot the computer.
If it still doesn't work you could have a faulty wireless card, see it your friendly computer shop can test it for you.
