Connect the usb cord to the port, wait til the screen shows up. Click the software button, then it should say something like get photos from camera. If not just go to my computer and they should be there.

Hey i was just wondering how to upload pictures back onto my camera?

  1. It is has a memory card (and which recent camera does not have a card?), take the card out from camera, insert it into a computer media slot (SD, MMC, SDHC, MemoryStickPro, etc.) compatible with the card (or a 5 in 1). Once it is recognized by the computer, locate on the card the folder where the pictures are usually stored (DCIM or something else). Then copy pictures from your computer and paste them in the relevant folder on the card.
  2. Explore the camera software and see if it can transfer files from the computer to the camera.
Hope it helps.

I just got a new computer with windows vista. was wondering if i have to download anything to be able to put pictures from my samsung camera (D53) on the computer, and also video from my camera...not sure...

hey laura. I was imagine you have some very supped up computer. If your camera does not have the software CD with it. Simple plugging your camera into your usb port on the computer should enable you to view the camera and pictures and videos. Your camera will show up as a usb device.

Alternatively you should have a card reader on that computer. just take out the SD card and plug it into your computer and it will enable you to view your video clip and pictures.

let me know if you have problem going on.

Computer deleted pictures and need to get them back

You can use the data recovery software
this is my favorite

So plug in the memory card to the computer, scan it with the program and see if you find the pictures with it.

then finaly restore them to your computer hard drive, if you restore them into the card you will most likely overwrite them ruining all of them.

the demo is free so you can try it out.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Stupid format button

If you haven't done anything to the card since formatting it then you may be able to recover at least some of the pictures. Do a Google search for "data recovery software" and select a program for your computer and operating system. Put the card into a card reader attached to your computer and run the program.

Memory Card Requires Formatting

Hey B418,
Formatting will delete all your pictures on your camera or memory card. The camera might be prompting you to format because the the camera's memory is full. To avoid losing your pictures I would connect your camera to a computer, download your images to your computer first, and then format the memory.

Go Ahead. Use Us.
