Does anyone know how to delete stuff off the camera not the memory card .. i have 5 videos i cant seem to delete

With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

I went to check how much space I had left on my memory card and when I went to exit the screen I did not realize that I pressed ok to "Format Memory Card" and all my pictures were instantly cleared! I...


Sorry but I have bad news.Whenever you format a disc,memory card,it wipes it clean,forever.Delete has nothing to do with it.That stinks.I bet you had some beautiful stuff on there too. :(

there is a small switch on the side of the card change its position.Its there so you cant accidentally delete stuff thats important you may have moved it by mistake

Seems like its time to flush the contents of the memory card of camcorder to a computer.
There's a limited amount of memory in every memory card. After constant recording, the memory  gets full and the recorded stuff needs to be either deleted or flushed (uploaded to a computer) to make room for newly recorded stuff.

Unless you have a blank memory card, your problem should be solved by the above mentioned idea.
