Question about Logitech Cordless Desktop Optical 967320-0403 Keyboard

2 Answers

I have a EX 100 wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. I changes the batteries in the mouse and the next day it said I needed to replace the keyboard batteries as well. I did that on Friday and when I came to work today (Monday) the keyboard doesn't work. The mouse works but I can't type anything. Is it because of changing both sets on batteries? The batteries in the keyboard are new.

You just need to reconnect the wireless keyboard, to do this, press on the connect button on the receiver. then on the bottom of the mouse, then press on the receiver again and then on the button in the bottom of the keyboard.

Everything should work normally again, if you just had good batteries in and they are in the right way. If the keyboard still doesn't work check the batteries and try again.

Connect an additional wired keyboard to your pc. And when the freeze happens check if the pc responds at all, using the wired keyboard. If its not responding , its an indication of a faulty PSU or motherboard.

Hi there,
Underneath the mouse and the keyboard will be buttons labeled "Connect", you will need to resync with the receiver plugged into your computer. Press the connect button on each device in turn and it will attempt to resync.
If this does not work the next thing is to test with fresh batteries, however it is unlikely that both the keyboard and the mouse would run out at the same time.
Finally try with the receiver right next to the keyboard/mouse, sometimes other devices can interfere with wireless signals (WiFi networks, microwaves, vacuum cleaners etc...).
Good luck!

Hello, try fitting new batteries in the mouse. The top rear half of the mouse slides back and lifts off. You will need 2x AA batteries. Use good quality ones (like Duracell) Regards, nicam49

Have cordless keyboard EX-100. Keys will not respond. The calculator and mute keys works all other do not. Have fresh batteries and reset connection button many times. My cordless mouse is okay.

You either need to push fn button (upper left on keyboard) or you need to check that the logitech keyboard software (itouch and a few other names i can;t recal) is running or installed. On mine if the software has glitched out, a quick reload of it and it works fine. This software is what is telling your computer what the special keys mean. If this isn;t running it will only be able to understand the standard type of key signals.

The wireless mouse needed replacement batteries almost every day for a couple of weeks. Today it won't move at all.

Sounds like it was draining batteries at a rapid pace. If you were having to change batteries everyday for a while, that tells me that there is a problem with the board inside of the mouse and since you can't buy those parts for the mouse, it would need to be replaced.

Only other suggestion would be to make sure your using quality batteries like Energizer, Duracell, etc and if its still draining to much then you know for sure at that point the mouse is bad.

I have two sets of this product and when they are both being used at the same time one will stop working completely, help.

These units work on a radio frequency and if you have two units close together they will interfere with each other. The one that is closer to the receiver or has a stronger battery will usually win the battle. The next problem is they both use the same frequency and it can not be changed. The best option is to get a different brand of wireless keyboard or try a bluetooth keyboard. Bluetooth keyboards operate differently and can be used near each other.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

Logitech ex 100 mouse doesn't work

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
