Hello,,

The problem is likely to be from the connection i.e from the wire connection what you will have to do to fix up this problem first of all check on the wire connection from the back of the receiver then care full make sure that all wire AV connection are coonected according to there are color position, this AV wire can be indifferent connection that is either two (2)OR three(3) or more what matter most at this junction it make sure that all wire are connected according to the color

Pleae note, if the input of the screen is not as mush as the output of the receiver just make sure that all AV wire are well connected (plug)and well sited into the input or output of the device

What i mean is that make sure that

YELLOW AV unit is connected (plug)to the YELLOW in or out put device of the system i.e receiver or the screen
RED AV unit is connected (plug)to the RED in or out put device of the system i.e receiver or the screen
WHITE AV unit is connected (plug)to the WHITE in or out put device of the system i.e receiver or the screen

Hope this help?.

Thank you and thank for using fixya.

Hello, sorry to hear about your problem.
If you're connected via Component or HDMI out, you may want to try S-video or composite video. There are various problems with this device. Another issue could be the type of signal. I presume you are on digital now. From analyzing the net it seems to me that there may be a limited number of digital inputs into this device. Look for a way to designate only 1 digital input.

Difficult one to sort out on a forum. Needs fiddling with really.
Good luck.
Jim

My Denon dvd-2910 does not play 5.1. It is connected to Denon AVR-3805. It plays just stereo. The center, back channels and subwoofer don't give any sound

Your Denon DVD-2910 produces left and right audio output. Your Denon AVR-3805 generates 5.1 channel output; therefore, 5.1 channel output may not have been selected or the AVR-3805 may be defective.

My denon 3313 will not play the channels from my pandora account it sees my play channels it wont play them

Have you checked to see if there is a firmware update? You might need to reset back to factory but you will loose any items you put in.

Factory reset by:
1 Turn off the power using ON/STANDBY.
2 Press ON/STANDBY while simultaneously pressing PRESET CHANNEL 2 and PRESET CHANNEL 3.
3 Once the display starts flashing at intervals of about 1 second, release the two buttons

No sound

check speaker conections. disconnect all the speaker wires and use one speaker that you know that works and connect it to each channel one at a time. most surround sound stereos will not go into surround mode unless all the speakers are connected so make sure stereo is in 2 channel mode to start testing. check all fuses sometimes amp fuse is seperate from power circuit and denon uses relays in 99% of thier units.

Denon AVR-682 center channel has no output

You may have had the receiver set to "Stereo" mode, or Analog instead of "Digital" or "Auto" (automatically switches to digital when it detects a signal) modes. Also, setting it to "Direct" (2-channel from an analog source) could result in loss of center channel. Or your Surround Parameter dial (on the higher-end Denons, at least) could be set to a 2-channel mode.
Finally, if your digital inputs are incorrectly assigned (e.g., COAX1 instead of OPT1, or OPT2 instead of OPT1) for that source, the receiver will use the Analog signal which is stereo-only. You could get a center channel via Dolby Pro Logic II but it would be a "matrixed" signal, not the "real" center channel you could get via digital input using Dolby Digital or DTS.
(If all else fails, re-check your center channel speaker wire connections. It's very unlikely, but also possible, that either the receiver center channel amp or the speaker has failed.)

Using my universal remote contol, lost sound on 2 TV channels

The solution is to change the audio input from SAP (secondary audio programming - default on TV sets sold in Canada) to Stereo or Mono. Your remote will need to be able to access the "Menu" settings screen for your television set.
